Concentration

I am learning a lot by concentrating on one thing.

Everyone I know is learning a lot by concentrating on one thing.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the world is learning a lot by concentrating on one thing.

-----------------

I am gaining the insight of taking all the steps to take care of one thing.

Even though there are lots of things to do to move an idea forward, I am learning the value of concentrating on just one of those things.

Once every detail is explored and the thing moves into action, it is a completed experience.

I will not have to visit it again, not to the extent that it took to bring everything together for a decision.

Gaining focus meant that I didn’t have to move in so many directions to get the information I needed.

Concentrating on just one thing meant that I would look at it completely and resolve any and all questions regarding it.

Remaining faithful to my task meant that I would find out everything I possible could before making a decision.

I dealt with physical and emotional roadblocks.

I looked at causes and effects.

I evaluated, discussed and reflected deeply.

Then I took action.

I know that my action is based on the most complete picture I could possibly put together.

I have followed up on intuitions.

I have made a solid decision.

This frees me to concentrate on the next step in my new undertaking.

My Individuality

appreciate my individuality.

Everyone I know appreciates their individuality.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the world, appreciates their individuality.

------------

My individuality gives me a unique perspective on what I can do in the world.

It gives me ways I can serve to uplift society and civilization in my little corner of it.

When I come up with a new idea, I can listen to it to see how it could grow into something beautiful or useful.

I can see how ti makes me feel.

Joyful?

Happy?

Ecstatic?

Sad?

Grieving?

What do I need to do to feel fulfilled?

How will the ideas that come to me increase my sense of fulfillment?

How will they benefit me and others?

This is what my individuality is for.

This is what it is about.

My Friend

I am a good friend to myself.

I am a good friend to everyone I know.

I am a good friend to everyone I don’t even know all over the planet.

--------------------

It is amazing and delightful to think of myself as having so many good friends that I don’t even know who they all are.

Now that I am learning how to be generous to myself and to others, I can be a better friend.

The same way that others do not know what I am facing, I realize that I do not know what they are facing.

We all have issues that we are working on.

They have come to us because we are in a position to find the solutions.

Since we are here to live generously and to uplift ourselves and others, we can be more compassionate, more understanding, more thoughtful.

That is the best friendship that can be offered.

Solutions come to all of us when we are able to go within and listen for them.

Just listening is the best way to find a deep calm center to our being.

Since we are here and now, the solutions are here and now.

Knowing this for ourselves and for everyone else helps calm the world down a little bit.

The more we each contribute our sense of generosity and compassion when we hear of a problem, the more we are supporting those who are in the middle of it all to find a deep peace and calm right there.

That way we are helping them listen for the solutions that are theirs, right here and now also.

That is a most wonderful and generous friendship.

One of the ways I share the ideas of friendship is through my musical work with very young children.  Here is a link to my Theme, “Friendship”.  It has a Chant, a Fingerplay and a song.  http://musicandbooksforchildren.com/?p=647.

Wonderful Day

I am having a wonderful day today.

Everyone I know is having a wonderful day today.

Everyone I don’t even know, all over the world, is having a wonderful day today.

-----------------

I am listening for the wonderful ideas that come to me when I go “within”.

I know that when I quiet all the noise around me, I find calm and deep peace.

Each and every day contains ideas which uplift and benefit society and civilization.

I can listen for those or I can listen to the news and media harassment.

I prefer the uplifting ideas that are available.

When I align myself with wonderful uplifting ideas, I have a wonderful day.

I take steps to improve myself.

I write children’s musical books.  (www.MyMusicalMind.com)

I follow through on projects.

I meet with good and uplifting friends.

I read books by inspired authors.

I cook delicious food.

Today is one more wonderful day in which I can give and then receive.

Peace and Calm

I have the ability to establish peace and calm for myself.

Everyone I know has the ability to establish peace and calm for themselves.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the world has the ability to establish peace and calm for themselves.

------------

Since the atmosphere we are living in is anything but peaceful and calm some of the time, or even a lot of the time, it has been very beneficial and powerful for me to discover how to establish my own peace and calm.

I am learning to look within.

When I go within and listen just for the thoughts that are doming to me from within, I find that they are calm and peaceful.

It may take a while to quiet my thought and to shut out all the noise and familiar past emotions,  but when I do, I find the peace within.

My path to this process was slow, but I did not like the alternative.

So I kept listening.

I found out a whole new direction for my life.

I found that, although it is hard, I am able to let go of past negative memories.

I am learning to appreciate the shock of triggers which sometimes release the past, despite the horrible discomfort, because it shows me the contrast with the way I am living now.

In war torn situations, whether physically on the ground or mental or emotional war zones, there is a place where we can find our peace and calm.

The quiet from within is a sure guide.
