Expanding Support

I am surrounded by friends who love me.

Everyone I know is surrounded by friends who love them.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the planet, is surrounded by friends who love them.

——————-

Taking new steps can be uncomfortable.

It is helpful to know that the well wishes of our good friends are always with us.

We can explore new situations with curiosity and delight and anticipate the wonderful things we will be learning and experiencing, because we have already had good experiences in other times and places.

We can expand on that, knowing that friendship occurs across time and space.

We are always in touch with the people we love and trust, every time we think about them.

They feel it and we feel their kind and supportive attention as well.

These are some of the permanent structures we build into our lives.

Doing things we love and expanding our activities in directions that are interesting and important to us builds a different kind of structure than following the rote mentality of holding down a job we are not interested in.

It is the technique of building a castle in the air, and then building a stairway to it.

The love of friends helps us trust ourselves as we explore new stair-building techniques.

Supportive Friends

I love spending time with supportive friends.

Everyone I know loves spending time with supportive friends.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the planet, loves spending time with supportive friends.

———————

Supportive friends lift us up.

We feel so good being in their presence.

We can all share in making each other feel good about what we do, who we are, the wonderful and beautiful things we make.

I am a member of several knitting, quilting, and embroidery groups.

All of us enjoy sharing our beautiful work with each other.

People can get help from more experienced members.

These groups are all composed of givers.

Even with all the visiting and a wide variety of opinions, the common activity spreads enjoyment of our time together.

I Am Satisfied

I am so grateful to know that I am truly satisfied.

Everyone I know is so grateful to know that they are truly satisfied.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the planet is so grateful to know that they are truly satisfied.

———————

Beyond downsizing to a quarter of my previous possessions, beyond any of the steps which have placed me in my new universe and beautiful physical surroundings, beyond any of this, is a deep feeling of satisfaction.

It was so urgent to me to take the steps that placed me in a new relationship to the Universe and to the world.

It was a need to listen to who I truly am and to start living that way.

Over the year since our move to the country, I have sat on my porch and just looked out at the trees across the meadow.

I have looked at the seed heads on an acre of unmown meadow and realized the bounty and inevitability of each year’s growth.

I have watched millions of leaves rustle in the gentle breeze and seen their many different aspects of light and dark and felt their timeless presence.

I have gently been launched into my own creativity.

It is a completely different feeling than carrying out someone else’s direction for my life.

The discomfort that I felt was a guide to the fact that I needed to discover and live my own individuality.

I have been living with my own direction now for a year and it is an incredible sensation.

I am in touch with who I am.

I am not this other disturbed, upset, anxious, depressed person nonetheless carrying out my duties to the best of my ability while being completely unaligned with what was important to me.

I have acknowledged that I exist.

I love me.

I am satisfied to be this person who is me.

The Feeling of Good Ideas

I love the feeling of getting good ideas.

Everyone I know loves the feeling of getting good ideas.

Everyone I don’t even know all offer the planet, loves the feeling of getting good ideas.

———————

It is so wonderful to know that whenever I take the time to listen, the world is full of good ideas.

When I need an idea, it is there for me.

Recently, I needed ideas for a music story.

As I began writing, the ideas were so plentiful that I realized there were too many for just one story, so I moved some of the ideas to a second file.

Even with the second music story, there were enough ideas to start a third one.

I opened a third file and moved them to it.

Then I listened for more ideas to complete the third story.

I kept listening until there were enough ideas.

I am so grateful because with the three stories, children will be able to understand the concept much better.

I am learning that whatever I need, it is right where I am, right in front of me.

I have a sense of expectation now, on a regular basis.

As I remind myself of this fact, it opens up the way for me to do whatever I am involved in.

Retraining the Body

I am grateful to learn how to retrain my body in addition to retraining my mind.

Everyone I know is grateful to learn how to retrain their body in addition to retraining their mind.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the planet is grateful to learn how to retrain their body in addition to retraining their mind.

————————-

As I explore the new techniques which release me to live the life I desire to live, I have noticed that my body still retains many of its reactions to old situations even though they no longer occur.

I realized that the deep physical impressions have to be consciously retrained in order to be released as well.

As I have taken the steps to retrain my mind to choose the things that make me happy, I can now release my body to have calmer and happier experiences.

The specific behaviors of my parents are becoming clearer to me as I search for solutions.

I am able to put in words what those behaviors meant, and to give myself new words in order to give myself my desired release.

I no longer have to live in those situations, and I no longer have to act out my response to them in my body.

My body is free to respond to my current self-chosen, self-directed life, and I can enjoy myself, body and soul.

This is a new revelation to me and a very welcome step.

Time to Reflect

I am so grateful for time to reflect.

Everyone I know is so grateful for time to reflect.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the planet is so grateful for time to reflect.

——————

With time to reflect, I can feel what is important to me.

I am not just pushed around by my surroundings and the opinions of other people.

I can feel the deep peace and listen for what is truly mine.

I can feel the presence of guidance and the quiet urge to take the first and then the next steps.

I see the reassurance of billions of leaves on thousands of trees and see how each leaf gets its maximum good exposure to the sun, turning itself.

It fulfills its role to create oxygen and to serve one of its many purposes on the earth.

I, too, have the reassurance of turning myself to the Source of all good ideas, and I, too, can follow my inner guidance to fulfill my purpose on the earth.

I notice how the leaves do not create movement for themselves.

They move at the urging of the wind, and the swaying of their tree.

Sometimes they move a lot, sometimes only a little, sometimes not at all.

They continue fulfilling their role, nonetheless.

I, too, sometimes act, sometimes, listen, sometimes meditate.

I am fulfilling my role.

Reflection lets me know this.

Quiet assurance gives me the only security I need.

Changes in the Weather

I am grateful for the weather and its changes.

Everyone I know is grateful for the weather and its changes.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the planet, is grateful for the weather and its changes.

——————-

We have had extremes in the weather.

For several years we had drought conditions.

For the last several weeks there has been so much rain, I wondered when the new garden plants would ever see sunlight.

The changes in the weather give us a perspective in how to balance our lives.

Sometimes there is a lot of work on a project.

But it is not yet time for it to launch.

However, when everything is completed and it is the right time, it will launch.

The overarching, long-term weather conditions do indicate trends.

We learn to adjust our step, to prepare ourselves for changes.

We learn not to take things for granted.

We may even learn new skills.

When we learn to keep our balance under changing circumstances, we also learn that other people are going through the same kinds of situations.

We become more compassionate as we all take on new views and gain new skills.

Weather changes can keep us alert about our life in general, and help us be supportive of those who are also facing changes in their lives.
