Being Safe

How do I know I am safe?

How do I know everyone I know is safe?

How do I know everyone I don’t even know all over the world is safe?

--------------

It sure looks like we are not safe.

It sure looks like everything in the world can disrupt our lives - laws, wars, jobs, food supply, politics.

Finding peace within for a moment, each time we do it, takes away some of the the weight and persistence of these world events which are triggered by our current world view.

I find that when I start out my world view from within, with a moment of peace right where I am, and each time it comes up during the day, I can find what I need, be where I need to be, and make connections with others.

Sometimes, it feels like I am walking or driving a little thin line through the rest of my surroundings.

But, I can take my peace with me, and therefore my safety.

I can reestablish it as I need to.

This is where my safety is, when I reaffirm and feel the peace within.
