As I read the horrifying way our government is presenting itself all over the world, I am beginning to realize that since it is not built on the ideals we are all raised on, it will ultimately fail.
Despite the declining educational standards of our country, the citizens of the US are not dumb.
The backlash, when the egregious policies of the oligarchy hit home, will be substantial.
I am grateful for all the efforts of honesty and integrity that do exist in our government and for the effects they are beginning to have.
The test of our citizenry will be to bring together a much more powerful and effective coalition to bring about the kind of effective government we all actually want.
Discerning the difference between the lies spewed by the media and the truth we know in our hearts and minds is a first essential step.
The others will be built on this.
