Notice of Appreciation

My first deep breath is an appreciation for what lis uplifting to me.

My second deep breath is an appreciation for what is uplifting to all the people I know.

My third deep breath is an appreciation for what is uplifting to all the people I don’t even know all over the planet.

----------------

Now that I am gathering more awareness and spending more time in an uplifting mode, I am more aware of what is not uplifting for me.

I am so grateful to all the writers and workshop leaders and conversations with wonderful people that are so uplifting.

It is good to receive so much inspiration that I gravitate toward it.

Now, I am putting more weight on the positive things in my life than my habitual ingrained rounds from the past and its negative influence.

This has taken a lot of work.

I had no idea how deep that negative imprinting could go.

I am more compassionate toward everyone now.

Who knows what ingrained habits have put them or kept them where they are?

I know if I can change, others can also.

I am willing to take a closer look and learn to release even more of the negative imprinting in order to live better.

I expect it will help others to gravitate in more positive directions for themselves.

Made of Light

I see everything as made of light.

Everyone I know sees everything as made of light.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the planet sees everything as made of light.

---------------

Every idea that comes to us is enlightening.

It has the quality of lifting us up into a higher, lighter view.

It enlightens us about things we need to know.

It makes our burdens and daily chores light.

Suddenly, in this practice, we are infused with a sense of light.

We are light-hearted and unworried.

We freely give up our concern as we receive light about our day.

We move into light as we accept a higher way of doing business.

We lighten other people when we lift them up in our thought.

We enlighten them in our uplifting conversation.

We become full of light as we listen for solutions from within.

We manifest light as we join in the flow of those solutions.

We attract associates who see and love the light.

All of today is about light.

Listening for the Peace

I am listening first, for the peace.

Everyone I know is listening first, for the peace.

Everyone I don’t even know, all over the world, is listening, first, for the peace.

----------------

When I listen for the peace, first, before I taken on a project, a marvelous thing happens.

I receive the peace, and simultaneously, the answers for the project come as well.

Instead of planning, fretting, worrying, trying to connect and line everything up, it just all shows up, as needed, in place.

If an element is missing, I just go back and flood my mind with peace.

When I feel it deep within me, the missing piece shows up.

The challenge, of course, is to focus on finding and keeping the peace within.

Once I do that, and the peaceful feeling returns, the next step in the project is always prepared to go.

I am glad to have learned how to prepare and complete projects, but this stress-free streamlined way beats all that.

At One with My Purpose

The feeling of being at one with my purpose is indescribably wonderful.

The feeling that everyone I know has, of being at one with their purpose is indescribably wonderful.

The feeling that everyone I don’t even know all over the planet has, of being at one with their purpose is indescribably wonderful.

---------------------
At one.

Deeply satisfying and exciting purpose.

What could be better?

This is what we all search for.

This is the life we all love living.

We are here to discover our purpose and then to live it.

Now.

In real time.

Now, really.

It is so wonderful to feel all that lovely energy flowing through and surging and expanding.

It is so deeply wonderful to feel the activity of so much good.

It is a wonderful participation in the richness of the Universe.

Come play!

The Infinity of Me

The infinity of me is a blessing.

The infinity of everyone I know is a blessing.

The infinity of everyone I don’t even know all over the planet, is a blessing.

----------------

It turns out that infinity is available to everyone.

We have to look at things differently.

What are the things that are infinite in our lives?

How can we become aware of them?

What kinds of things do we want to be infinite in our lives?

What do we want to perpetuate forever?

Kindness.

Compassion.

Understanding.

Forgiveness.

When we begin to embrace more kindness in our lives toward others, we begin the practice of the infinite.

More compassion embraces the infinite.

Understanding goes a long way towards peace, which is also infinite as you learn how to practice it.

Forgiveness.  Start with yourself and let your practice expand from there.

And then begins the discovery.

What will kindness bring into your experience?

Compassion?  Understanding?  Forgiveness?

What will these bring into your life?

Take each thought, each memory, as it comes to you and set aside your old reaction.

Look at it differently.

With kindness, compassion, understanding, forgiveness.

Look at it with one of those viewpoints.

How would it be different for you?

Can you see another conclusion is you look at it differently?

Does it open another possibility?

You see, I have found an open door and no one can shut it ever again.

I can look at the past with different eyes, and that is giving me a new future.

I now have a future of infinity.

My past no longer limits me.

I live my life of infinity every day with every thing I do.

It is my invitation to you, too.

Gentle Breaths, Gentle Steps

I am taking gentle breaths and gentler steps.

Everyone I know is taking gentle breaths and gentler steps.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the planet is taking gentle breaths and gentler steps.
---------------
Despite the harsh pressure and competition we are presented with all the time in the media and on the highway, I am becoming gentler with myself.

I am taking the time to figure things out, instead of just doing the way I am told.

I appreciate learning what is behind what I am doing, the method, the science, the art.

Before, I was just a really good imitator.  I was a quick study, too.  A very rewardable combination in the pressure and competition kind of world.

But now, I am trying out some new things for myself.

I love finding out what makes them work.

I love crafting something new for myself.

And I am finding out I don’t learn like I used to.  I still take it all in very quickly, but I am training my hands to do completely different operations than they are used to.

I am training my eyes to see with a completely different vocabulary than they are used to.

I am learning lots of new skills, and some of them are not quick for me.

I appreciate that.

I appreciate getting a new perspective along with a new vocabulary.

I feel so refreshed as I take my time.

I have time to try out different combinations of elements.  I can see how they work together.  I can try again.  I can change the combinations of elements and see the differences.

This is a gentler way to live and work.

It takes my needs into consideration.

It lets me explore and develop my art.

The art of life is gentler than the competitive approach to living.

I encourage everyone to find the gentle breaths and gentle steps for yourself.

Goals and Progress

I am so grateful for progress on goals that truly mean something to me.

Everyone I know is so grateful for progress on goals that truly mean something to them.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the planet is grateful for progress on goals that truly mean something to them.
----------------
It is wonderful to be in a position to develop meaningful goals and projects.

I am so grateful to have these surface in ways that feel wonderful.

It is a great relief to be working for myself, even though I have almost always been self-employed.

For myself has come to mean, not just what I can do that is employable in today’s economy, but what I can do that is important to me.

To have been led throughout the many stages of my career to what I do now, is quite a privilege.

To be able to continue to learn and grow in order to implement it is a challenge and keeps life interesting.

After taking care of others, it is amazing to be able to focus on myself and have that be the most important thing I can do to contribute to the world.

With my connection to my purpose, ideas flow continuously.

It will be fun to see how this continues to grow and develop.

Depth

I am willing to go deeper into my purpose.

Everyone I know is willing to go deeper into their purpose.

Everyone I don’t even know all over the planet is willing to go deeper into their purpose.

---------------------

For years, I have been putting together, a “something” with the object of feeling more fulfilled than ever before.

I feel now is the time to go deeper into that “something”.

I have learned to listen and receive inner guidance.

I have learned the difference between other people’s opinions for my welfare and the Universe’s.

The Universe has a much more far-reaching view for each of us than even a combination of the wisest and most unselfish of organizations.

So I return inward, to the Within and let it do It’s work.

I have learned that the connections which need to be will happen.

The people who will most benefit will be served.

I have my directive, to go and listen and serve.

Seeing and Finding

I see myself in simple happiness and delight.

I see everyone I know in simple happiness and delight.

I see everyone I don’t even know all over the planet in simple happiness and delight.

---------------------

I am thinking about simple happiness.

The kind that is available to everyone all the time.

I am thinking about what is delightful in everyday things.

I am growing a new kind of landscape in my front yard, flowering perennials.

This time of year, it is delightful and charming.

All the different colors and shapes of the blossoms call out a gentle beauty.

I know that all year, even during the winter when perennials die back, they are conserving and gathering energy for their cycle of beauty in the spring and summer.

As we go through so many life changes, that is what we are doing, too.

We are learning how to cultivate simplicity and beauty in ourselves so we, too, can share it.

We know that we pass through many stages of search, dormancy, and trial and error before we bloom.

Seeing other people in those varying stages gives them encouragement through our compassion and understanding.

We add lightness to people’s lives when see them that way.

We can share delight instead of judgement and evaluation.

After all, who knows what another’s path holds?

I am just grateful to be finding delight and happiness in my own.

That is what I want to share.

Appreciation

My first deep breath is a thought of appreciation for myself.

My second deep breath is a thought of appreciation for everyone I know.

My third deep breath is a thought of appreciation for everyone I don’t even know all over the planet.

-------------------
Taking the time to appreciate myself is relaxing and exhilarating.

There is so much pressure from the outside to do more, be more, buy more.

Appreciating what and who I am and how I do things, takes the pressure off.

It is like turing down a different street.

I can go down a street that is full of traffic jams, or I can go down a street that is quiet and empty and beautiful.

On the crowded street, people are angry and frustrated.

On the quiet street, the few people that I meet are mannerly and considerate.

On the crowded street, nobody has time to think.

On the quiet street, people are lost in thought.

I am learning to take the quiet street, even when there is a lot of crowding and chaos around me.

I can go within and find my quiet appreciation for myself.

That lets me do whatever I need to do for the day and also what I love to do.
